Observation

2 videos were viewed of teacher and child interactions. Video 1: showed a teacher restrict a child's movement by pinning a child to a mat at rest time with her leg, showed teachers slapping children on the back at rest time using full arm motion, a teacher pushing a head of a child down multiple times with her hand when a child would move their head up to look. Video 2: showed a child follow a teacher to a gated area with the teacher physically slamming a gate in the child's face to stop the child from access into the gated area. Although the child appeared not hurt but stunned, the teacher interaction itself, was abrupt and hostile as the gate was slammed in the child's face and the child was ignored by the teacher. ??
